Vicci Martinez is probably playing in a studio right now as she preps for her new release, due out mid-October! On August 30th Vicci tweeted that she was working on a revised version of her song “Touch the Fire” with Tim Pagnotta. I don’t know about you but I can not wait to hear that! “Touch the Fire” is the first song on Vicci’s live album “Live from Jazzbones.” I know that we all miss Vicci’s tweets but I assure you she hasn’t lost touch with us she is just extremely busy trying to get this album out for all of us to enjoy!
As of right now there are no show dates to announce. Vicci stressed that she was finishing up writing the songs for her album and then was heading into the recording studio for the next several weeks to lay down the tracks. Vicci has been working with some amazing writers and producers such as Rock Mafia & Desmond Child.
It does appear that after her album hits stores she will be doing some touring. In an August newsletter Vicci and her team stated. “Thanks for the emails, posts etc., and hope to see you out at an upcoming show in the Fall!!” That is music to my ears! So if you haven’t been blessed enough to see Vicci play yet get ready for her to come to a town near you. I am crossing my fingers that she will perform shows across the U.S. so that everyone will get to see what an amazing performer she is!
