Who needs “The Voice” when you can catch Tacoma native Vicci Martinez live on Sunday?

The singer-songwriter, who recently shot to national fame on the NBC talent show, will perform a solo acoustic set at Art on the Ave. She will play about 2:30 p.m. on the main stage in front of Jazzbones, 2803 Sixth Ave.

Art on the Ave will run from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday between Cedar and Trafton streets. It’s a free event. Among the songs Martinez will perform will be several from “The Voice.”

She also announced Friday that she’ll soon record a CD to be released in the fall.
