Vicci Martinez scheduled for Jay Leno Show Feb 10th

Wardance Coming!UPDATE: CeeLo Green is going to appear on Leno with Vicci and we’ve also learned that they’ll be singing a song called “Come Along”. This is going to be the new single released soon after the appearance – we hope!

This follows last Thursday’s appearance at The Viper Room and what is sure to be a blockbuster Season 2 Debut of The Voice following The Super Bowl on February 5th.

We don’t know if tickets are available for this show but click here  to request tickets .  You can also go to the studio the morning of the show and take your chances on whether or not there will be tickets available.  Word is that sometimes folks start lining up as early as 5am!  It would be worth it to see Vicci.

We have a feeling she may be debuting a single – again not sure on that but the timing would be right!

The Derby Dolls Season Championship Game yesterday, December 10th, 2011 included a performance of the National Anthem by Vicci Martinez.

Although sometimes Vicci, admittedly, forgets her own lyrics – she was spot on – including one of her signature note bends on the 2nd to last phrase.

Where’s Vicci Playing Now?

Find all of Vicci Martinez’ current Tour Dates on our Tour Info page

Vicci Martinez is probably playing in a studio right now as she preps for her new release, due out mid-October! On August 30th Vicci tweeted that she was working on a revised version of her song “Touch the Fire”  with Tim Pagnotta. I don’t know about you but I can not wait to hear that! “Touch the Fire” is the first song on Vicci’s live album “Live from Jazzbones.” I know that we all miss Vicci’s tweets but I assure you she hasn’t lost touch with us she is just extremely busy trying to get this album out for all of us to enjoy!

As of right now there are no show dates to announce. Vicci stressed that she was finishing up writing the songs for her album and then was heading into the recording studio for the next several weeks to lay down the tracks.  Vicci has been working with some amazing writers and producers such as Rock Mafia & Desmond Child.

It does appear that after her album hits stores she will be doing some touring. In an August newsletter Vicci and her team stated. “Thanks for the emails, posts etc., and hope to see you out at an upcoming show in the Fall!!” That is music to my ears! So if you haven’t been blessed enough to see Vicci play yet get ready for her to come to a town near you. I am crossing my fingers that she will perform shows across the U.S. so that everyone will get to see what an amazing performer she is! We will continue to keep updating this website and if any changes or news occurs we will put it up right away. We are just as psyched as you are!

Vicci Martinez Working the Red Carpet

Recording Artisit Vicci Martienz takes a break from the studio to attend Cash Money Records’ Lil Wayne album release party for his album “Tha Carter IV.” The event took place at Boulervard3 on August 28, 2011 in Los Angeles, Califorina. Vicci rocks the red carpet event with her new rockin’ shorter hair style! Can she be any hotter? So for all those tweeting me if she got her hair cut heres some fresh new pictures of her at the event.

Vicci Martinez to Play at the Bayfront Blues Festival on 8-14-2011

If Duluth has the get-off-the-sofa blues this weekend, we may not even know it. That’s because the most-talked-about headliner at the 23rd annual Bayfront Blues Festival is Vicci Martinez, a singer-songwriter and a performer we’ve grown accustomed to seeing on television.

In the early 2000s, Martinez — “a young spitfire,” as the News Tribune’s Christa Lawler described her this week — was a regional finalist on “American Idol.” She opted out after early rounds because, she said, “Basically they own your soul,” and because, “They also wanted to change my style.” A few years later, Martinez was on “Star Search.” This summer she was a finalist on the NBC-TV reality competition, “The Voice,” which allowed her to perform with pop superstar Cee Lo Green.

She’ll take the stage in Duluth with fellow “The Voice” finalist Beverly McClellan, a multi-instrumentalist who favors a bluesy rock sound. They’ll cap off the three-day festival, Duluth’s can’t-miss, circle-the-dates-on-your-calendar, premiere summertime event. Other headliners include bluesfest regular Tommy Castro and a band that would be a huge deal if this was still 1993, Big Head Todd & the Monsters.

Whoever you’re eager to see at Bayfront Festival Park, or at clubs around town (schedules and other information are posted at, the important things is you’re off the couch and soaking up some sun and sounds — and that you have the blues, no matter what kind of blues you prefer.

Triple Door Performances Blow ’em Away – as usual!

Vicci Martinez had two sold out shows at The Triple Door in Seattle Saturday. Fans couldn’t get enough!

Long time fans and those who have only recently discovered Vicci Martinez packed the Triple Door, a favorite performing spot for the Vicci Martinez Band. Comments on Twitter such as “Big thanks to @VicciMartinez, her fantastic band and the Triple Door for such an amazing show last night… my ears and voice *still* hurt!” (@drsrcolfua)and “@VicciMartinez great seeing you last night… You were great as usual. “(@KingVic11) were the norm.

Vicci has been on a heavy travel schedule having been in Sweden last week working with Peter Svennson on songs for her new CD – scheduled for an end of September release.  Then she flew back to the US on Thursday for a show Thursday night at Clearwater Casino in Suquamish, WA, did an appearance Friday at the AFTRA Seattle meeting and her two shows at the Triple Door.  There’s no stopping this girl.

Her tour with the rest of the finalists and semi-finalists from The Voice starts on Wednesday July 27th at Universal City in LA.  We imagine if she’s not on a plane today, Sunday, she will be by tomorrow morning.  In between the tour dates she has other bookings.  Her manager has stated that she’ll be heading into the studio after her current set of bookings are complete.  Who knew that full time studio work could be like “time off”.

Can’t wait to see what’s next!
